Mellan Färgen is the smallest of the three Färgen lakes and forms an important link between Stora Färgen in the north and Södra Färgen in the south. The lake has a varied bottom structure with significant depth variations. In the southern part, around the Ibro swimming area, the lake is relatively shallow, while the western side offers depths down to 18 meters. The lake’s water inflows come from the Yabergsån river and Södra Färgen. During a visit, you can also take the opportunity to enjoy the Ibro swimming area, beautifully located at the lake’s southern edge. Note: A dangerous rock is located along the lake’s northeastern side, about 50-200 meters from shore, in line between the two bridges. Be careful when boating in this area.
